Never seen discounts on the tranny - maybe free shipping or something else thrown in, but Tremec has strict MAP on it

I think that is the case MAP is MAP but if you find a vendor that can make it happen I haven't bought mine yet.:D

they will need to be a site vendor to run the group buy. We have vendors already that offer this trans, have you checked with any of them yet?
