Ty and Greg and Jason's day
So.... Ty Engle was out west --- and he and I and Jason Rushforth spent the afternoon checking out a couple shops. I won't disclose the name or location of this shop... in order to keep it safe... it should be obvious that there are some very special cars here. I'm not even going to identify what they are....:D

Hope it was was a 250.... :woot: |
I stand corrected (which happens a lot actually!) the Ferrari is a 259b....
Just because I'd never heard of that "number" (thought it a typo for the more well known 250) doesn't mean it's wrong.... :wow: :willy:  |
I don't mind you telling everyone about my shop, thanks for stopping by.:unibrow: Thanks for the pics:woot:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferrari_TR It was built in '59 and was modified over the early '59 cars with the 5 speed and dry sump. I was pretty sure the owner (longtime friend) refered to it as a 259. :( Either way the motor makes the most wonderful of sounds. |
