1973 Plymouth Barracuda "Dead Fish"
Precision Restorations client has wanted a Barracuda since it was first introduced in 1964. He said he loves Barracudas for their beautiful body lines, as well as its rarity. After he completed medical school and finished his residency, our client decided to build this vehicle as a present to himself. He shares the love of muscle cars with his father.
Build outline for this cuda will be (many more details to come throughout the build): * 900 horse fuel injected Hemi engine * 6 speed gear vendor transmission * Full tubular custom suspension * Custom built, ceramic coated exhaust and headers * Four-wheel custom disk brakes with hydroboost * Stainless steel brake lines * Shaved door handles, locks and emblems * Custom fabbed hood to clear intake * Custom stereo * Dakota Digital gauges * 22” wheels in rear and 21” in front. Asanti Carbon fiber. * Tubbed rear end * Custom interior with front power seats * Full custom chassis built to handle up to 1,200 horse power * Two tone graphite/red paint with a side hockey stick graphic I know she does not look like much yet. But keep watching because this vehicle will be stunning. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8165/7...3af87f87_c.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8168/7...ae54417a_c.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8282/7...f71719c7_c.jpg |

Update 8-3-12.
Disassembly of the vehicle is complete and the custom built frame has arrived here at the shop. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7109/7...8bbffede_c.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8003/7...262e8755_c.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8159/7...426a2b47_c.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8281/7...6a87d8fb_c.jpg |
Vehicle has been stripped, blasted inside and out and we have been working on the body. You can also see below the 20" carbon fiber wheels that will be going on the vehicle.

Nice project, looking forward to this.
So rare to see the cool Mopar body styles done right. My opinion is that 21" Asanti poseur wheels don't fit the car, but there is no doubt they will look stunning regardless, and my opinion is irrelevant. |

Who built the frame? It looks nice. All "E" body cars are "Uni-body". Will the body be channeled over the Frame? If so how much?
One of my friends has a 70 Cuda. The car needed new floor pans. SO he installed a complete set. But when he installed them, he raised the new pans up two inches inside the body. B |

Awesome looking wheels but don't know how well they fit the "muscle car" concept. Will be fun to watch either way! |
