1973rs/ss ?

Hey guys , i really could use some help/advice , today i ran across a 1973 camaro , supposedly a rs/ss factory big block 4 spd car , its definately a rs car but not sure about the rest , i guess i dont know enough about the cowl tag info to make the call , it does however have a notch in the frame on the passenger side supposedly for clearance for the headers? it does have a 4spd shifter plate that appears to be factory , and also a 150 mph speedo , no tach, it appears to have the stock rs wheels (black) , car is now yellow with black stripes , ...
this car in particular has what looks to be minimal rust , a little in the lower rear valance and a little around the trunk latch , trunk pan appears to be ok , and the floor boards look good also , the only other spot i see any visible rust is on the driver side a pillar in one spot only , and it is about 3 inches long by about an inch wide , over all the car is solid , the doors open and close real good and the interior is in excellent shape , ...

my question is , i have a plain jane 70 camaro that i have pulled the drive train out of and am getting around to dissambling the rest of it , i wanted to convert it to a rs car but as you well know the costs of all the parts are so much , so its a slo moving project , my car is a very very solid car with little to no rust that i can find , but i do want to media blast it , trash the entire interior , so on and so forth ,

My question is , do i sell the car i presently have , and jump on this car if it is everything that i previously mentioned , and redo it even though it has a little more rust ... or do i just proceed with my current project and forget about the other .... i can buy the other one very very reasonable , and if i do will sell my car very reasonable in return , so it will kind of be a wash as far as money is concerned , anyway , sorry to ramble but i would like some opinions if you can spare the time ,
also if anyone can confirm any of the above rs'ss questions , thanks in advance for your help . Terry

Go over to www.nastyz28.com and do a little research on it. They have ALL the info you'd ever need there, and the people on the message board are very knowledgeable.
