spanner wrenches ?

Need a good wrench for adjusting t eh coil overs. Have a steel adjustable one currently and wondering if there is something better. Coils are approx 3.5" dia. and by Aldan Eagle. Not looking to break the bank, but a good tool is worth the money. Seems there are a bunch available but many look the same. One guy making them and others rebox?

info..

I don't own one (I borrowed one, from a good friend) but I think it is the one you are referring to as adjustable, with the "hinged" arm so that it fits various diameters of adjuster nuts.

My advice would be not to get this type. A real curse-fest using the thing, as it keeps slipping off and must be re-positioned for every single turn of the adjuster.

I would recommend spending the money on good ones which are of a fixed-size and matched to the size of the adjusters that you have. -Rob

That is exactly what I have and for the same reasons you mentioned is why I am looking for a better one.

Joes Racing has a long and short version. No idea if either will work for your application though.

I own these two.... and they work great. Two sizes because you have two sizes of nuts on the coil overs.

^^^^Those make a lot of sense, more engagement points. Ordering a set for sure. Thanks GW

Liked the adustability factor of the teeth. Only used one 'tooth' as that is all the aligned. Seemed to work OK. Prob better on the bench, but did in the car. 2nd gens done have lots of room.
