Okay, finally got the pictures all rounded up, So I purchased this car in 2007 from former classmate that had the car sitting in his garage since 96, He bought it and just wasn't a car guy so It sat, He started out about 13g and after recruiting my wife for back up and about 3 hours later we loaded it up for a 6500.00 When we got it it had the old wide on the back and narrow up front centerlines, 80's, I swapped out the wheels for the rallys in the picture. We then drove it around a few times over the summer months. It wasn't bad, Just wasnt what it could be. So in the summer of 08 we tore the car down to the bare body. I had it media blasted and ordered qtrs and mini tubs. I saw Scott Gulbranson's car on the front of camaro performers and was hooked, I had to build a car like that or close(ls t56 335s)http://i1175.photobucket.com/albums/...o/0938be49.jpg So I installed mini tubs and rear quarters. The qtrs fit horrible around the trunk, I cut the edges and moved the edge of qtrs in so they would fit.
Then we decided to put a art morrison frame under the car. So all the work of narrowing the factory frame I took and cut it all out.:willy: . I received the frame in the spring of 2010 and finally got it installed in fall 2010. I used a digital tram gauge that I sold to one of my friends to measure the wheelbasehttp://i1175.photobucket.com/albums/...o/af184dd0.jpghttp://i1175.photobucket.com/albums/...o/fdd489b7.jpghttp://i1175.photobuck

Well, were getting a red and white car on thursday, gt500, I like some of the orange colors, or silver or grey, I just want to get it in primer first, I have actually seen enough red and white to last a day or two, thanks for checkin it out.

That car could be my cars twin, Vince I am confused you said winter project, you live in cali dude, If you want a winter project come to wyo in january, I was in Jackson Hole the last few days and I could tell the people from the south they had there winter jackets on. It was about 63 at night I was one of the few with my shorts sandles and t shirt, What are the plans for the 69, engine, trans, Looks like a good start.

haaa haaaa yeah around here winter means everyone is in Reno/Tahoe skiing and don't feel like bringing their cars in for work so I like to load up on long term projects to keep me busy and paid till January. Believe it or not, It actually gets pretty cold around here too...it was 45* last winter 3 days in a row. It was a rough one. :D

Its pretty close but 87% of the metal is nice. More project funds to do modifications and not restoration.
Get that heater ready buddy!!
