Desert Cooler Radiator vs. Aluminum one

Looking for anyone's experience running an "enhanced" Desert Cooler radiator versus an aluminum one. Desert cooler's website has claims of virtually matching an aluminum radiator's cooling ability with their "multipass" radiator. And for me the price is soooo much better. 299.00 versus 500.00 plus for some aluminum setups. Please advise me so I can decide between the two. Thanks in advance--

Not all aluminum radiators are $500.00 & up.....

Summit is now selling "direct fit" Alluminum rads for early camaros. They are made by Northern Radiator, and priced around $250.
They list 2 parts #'s, SUM-380455 and SUM 380356

People I know who have the Northern branded version tell me it is a direct bolt-on and is compatible with the original shroud if desired.
