67 Bel Air
Well, I just bought a 67 Bel Air. Perfect floors, frame, trunk. Amazing. Minor rear wheel well patching. I'm mapping out my suspension plan and it seems alternative coil springs are not readily available? Hotchkis, for example, offers everything else but not springs. Any insights or leads I can follow?

I would be finding out what "platform" it shares with any other GM car --- that might be aftermarket items for. Since it was never a "performance" platform based on that particular car/model.... but perhaps that years Chevelle big block shared some chassis components with it (just using that as an example).
Also -- just some simple measurements of the spring currently in the car -- diameter and length... you should be able to find the spring RATE --- and then ask manufacturers what they have in that dia and length but in a performance spring. That -- or just go to coil overs.... which is what I'd do. |

I just happen to have a C5 caliper set on the shelf and was talking with Tobin at Kore. They have a nice kit. Of course, then I need to define a wheel/tire package! I think Global West has some stuff for the B-body I'll look into.
