T56 shifter leaking.
 
I have a LT1 style T56 with a Pro 5.0 shifter and its leaking out of the pivot ball. Anyone know how to fix this?

That appears to be seeping not leaking I wouldn't worry much about it. The pivot ball needs a some lubrication.

The way to fix it is design an internal seal or baffle to shield the underside from the oil blender.

Make sure your vent line isn't pinched and the check valve is functioning, it should limit pressure build up to roughly 5-10 psi.

Im having fluid up in my shifter boot, is that right?

No, but your pics make it look like very little compared to the leakage I was dealing with........puddle under the car type leak.

Hurst is building a new Blackjack shifter with an internal seal. Should be on the market in 3 months.
