'70 BOSS Mustang Little Boy Blue

This car isn't a restomod BUT it is a numbers matching Boss in the Pastel blue color. Only 66 made in 1970. Im excited for it just because I love this body style the most. This one will be getting all the exact spot welds and all the extra detail stuff I don't normally do on my other restorations unless they ask for it. I have a parts car and will be pulling off the quarter on that car and fixing any rust and finishing them to look as factory as possible. The last repair job on the quarters were not even safe. Rivets hold the drivers quarter on every 6". I'm surprised I cant see the seam. Maybe they know something I don't. Here is all I got done today.

I'm not usually a numbers matching guy but in this case I would be.

Im not a numbers matching guy either. I'll cut most anything up unless is rare like this one.

I agree with FETorino and Royalworks leave it original.

That colour is really nice. Looking forward to this build, just started diving into my fathers '70 boss 302 with him.

So we located a RUST FREE back half for this car. I cant believe we found one but it is going to make this a lot easier and I get to keep all the spot welds alone. I'm going to try and put this on as one big piece. The only weld I have to cut out are in the window channel and at the bottom of the quarter panels inside the jam. This will make this car so seamless and easy.

The car before and after they cut it up....

I use PhotoBucket to load the pictures, then use the links.

That would probably be better.
