There's a good article about Magnus Walker in the latest Heavy Hitters magazine.

A little more info...

"...Magnus Walker, the rebel Porsche customizer who turned a hobby into an obsession, and an obsession into a successful business. From a workshop in downtown Los Angeles, Magnus obsessively harvests fragments from donor 911s, grafting them onto vintage frames to create one-off automobiles with the spirit of Ferdinand Porsche but an ethos entirely his own."

Saw that issue and flipped through it. Guess I should have read more about him.

On a side note, that same issue shows a UGR Lambo that was totaled. Some pawn broker owned it and they had a spread on his car which included the Lambo before it was wrecked. Gorgeous car. Shame to see it smashed

Thank Skip - The Urban Outlaw video was inspiring. My first job was a shop boy at the local Porsche dealer in the summer of '76 and I've been passionate about them since.

Not really feelin' the (filming of) risk taking on the street, but that guy and the film are undeniably awesome! Thanks!
