68 Camaro front tires

I'm going to be ordering a new set of tires for my 68 Camaro. I'm going with 275/40/18's in the rear, which are 26.7 tall, with a 4.3" sidewall. In the front I know most go with 245/40/18's which are 25.7 talll and 3.9" sidewalls.

Is there any problems running 235/45/18's in the front, which are 26.3 tall and has a 4.2" sidewall? I like to have a taller sidewall for our rough Michigan roads.

Thanks,
Mike

No, that will work fine. I run a 275/40/18 rear with a 245/40/18 front, but as long as you have the same or a little more sidewall in the rear as you do in the front it will look fine.

Will a 245/35/18 be to short of a tire with 2" drop springs in the front on my 68 Camaro? 245/40/18's are back ordered in the tire I want.
