30's Roadster Wagon

building this wagon for my 7 momth old grandsons first Christmas. this is my accomplishment for a day and a halfs work. I work two jobs so my car went on the back burner till this is done.I'd like to find some lights and different wheels for it too. It will be black with Flames(of course) with a red interior.Hood will open for storage and the seat will come out for more in the rear. It's about 40" long 16" wide in the rear tapering to 11"in the front. No real plans other than whats in my head.

Bead rolled the doors in

dude, badass. I love that you bead rolled it. That 7 month old is going to have a nicer ride than me!

BITCHIN ride man!! Very cool! The front wheels could be modded just a little bit to look like mag spindle mount skinnys and you could always go with a painted steel look in the back. Shave some of the tread off with a grinder and white wall the rears.
I'm jealous!! :hail:

Thanks for all the compliments guys. I didn't get as much done the last little bit as my youngest got the flu, then we took her and her sister and the grandson to Winconsin Dells for a weekend getaway. got back and did a little more.

I'd try to run LED type lights on a project like that... a small motorcycle battery could run them most of a day. I also like the tires on the rear and front -- they remind me of dirt track tires so are old skool!

LOVE the project by the way!

Funny how these seem "simple" and you can build it in no time... WRONG! They take a lot of work! :hail:

Still have some more welding and lots of grinding on it, then body work. And I'm still looking for something better for the front wheels.

I thought I'd give this a quick update, a little behind but we should see paint tomorrow on this. final fitting was tonight and then took it all apart for paint.
