Ignition wires touching headers on LS
Hello,
I have just finished installing an LS engine in my Camaro and I see that a couple of the ignition wires are touching my Stainless Works headers (for stock subframe and steering box). Do any of you people have any ideas or solutions to this problem ? cheezer |
Without pictures about all anyone can suggest is route them in a manner that doesn't contact the header. Not enough information. ;)

Any ideas, other than another set of headers, would be appreciated. Thanks, cheezer Driver side http://i974.photobucket.com/albums/a...driverside.jpg passenger side http://i974.photobucket.com/albums/a...o/DSC_3097.jpg |
I used aftermarket wires with 90 degree plug boots. They have a lot more room than the factory wires do.

yep, I believe there is a brand that has a reflective coating on it too.

I have the re-designed SW headers and I used BWD Select - Spark Plug Wire Set
Part Number: CH7875 from O'Rielly's They have a lifetime warranty and all the wires clear except #5, which I wrapped with a Taylor heat shield (similar to the INSUL-BOOT in the previous post). |
Thanks

No O'Rielly's in Canada, but I have cross referenced part numbers at NAPA before. As far as brands, do the boots on the MSD wires bend like they say? The product literature says straight boots, but on their site the say "bend to fit". Is this so ? cheezer |
