Paddle Shifter Question...6L80E

Looking for help from the vast and unpaid research department here...

Has anyone used a paddle shifter for their trans? If so, what kind?

What's the best one that can integrate with the stock TCU for a 6L80E and the L99?

Has anyone used the Shrifter?

Thanks in advance for any help....

Call Steve at Twist machine on the shrifter. I believe no ecu is required to paddle shift a 6L80 making it a fairly inexpensive setup.

I second the call to Steve. He is a great guy and very helpful. We can't wait to install our shrifter! :D

The paddle shifter is the easy part, as stated. The trick is having your harness builder set up according to the appropriate schematic. Ditto on the calibration.

All Speed Customs has an install in the photo gallery of their Facebook page. Pretty car. Nice people.

Thanks, you guys, for the kind words. We try.

Cool, thanks.

The short, over-simplified version for anyone else planning a 6L is to have your harness builder and your tuner set up around a Corvette schematic and calibration. It seems to save a lot of trouble down the line.

I have no experience with this company but they might be worth a shot...
