Custom rack and pinion or shortening C5 rack?

I'm planning using a C5 IFS on my project and looks like I will need to narrow the track a few inches. I was planning on using the c5 rack and pinion (since I already have it) and am stumped on how to go about narrowing it?

Anyone know if this is possible to do or where I can get a custom one?

Call you up woodward steering and order a rack.

Thanks i'll look into it.

I guess my best bet would be find a steering rack from another car that is shorter and use that. Any info online about racks and their lengths (between inner tie-rod sockets)?

Look at the DSE rack, they have two lengths available.

Flaming River now does custom length racks as well. Don't know how the quality compares to Woodward, but I know my Woodward is an awesome rack.
