18" wheel suggestions
Running Baer brakes all the way around. Having trouble finding the right wheel for a 2nd Gen TA. Any thoughts or suggestions would be great!
|
This will depend on budget. I have a set of Forgeline wheels on my camaro but I cant afford another set for my nova so I will be getting a set of Vintage Wheel Work wheels. Both are great quality.

the ONLY wheel design for a 2nd gen ta is a mesh style wheel with a gold center. preferably with exposed perimeter bolts.
anything else and we have to burn you at the stake for heresy. :D |

-Year one does a cheap 17" wheel option (not sure on the Baer's for clearance so you should call Dutch at Baer and discuss the Year One wheel) http://i997.photobucket.com/albums/a...-12update2.jpg -Rushford Wheels,, Jason is a great guy to deal with... http://i997.photobucket.com/albums/a...PathLight3.jpg -Forgeline does wheels,, great people just call them and they'll help you.. http://i997.photobucket.com/albums/a...chiseVegas.jpg -Evod will custom carve a set of wheels for you like these of you call Larry or Shaun over there... http://i997.photobucket.com/albums/a.../WarHorse8.jpg |
As always great ideas guys- thanks! I forgot to mention it's a '79 Tenth Anniversary TA, NOT tubbed. I wanted a little bit subtle, not wild and crazy, but not classic old school either- maybe something in the middle. I'll check out what was suggested so far...
