Made the decision to sell...

5 Attachment(s)
Made the decision to sell my 67 Promax /Vennom Nova. I have to many irons in the fire to even get the project started.Bought into the business(25%) and lack of time will hinder me from getting the project off the ground. For those who are not familar with the bodys let me fill in the blanks.
Body is made of fiberglass. 2.5x4x3/16-inch rectangular steel tubing for the frame with round tube crossmembers and gussets.Tubular A-arms with upper and lower ball joints. Heidt's 2-inch dropped spindles.Flaming River's rack and pinion steering.46 inch wide Centerfab 9 inch rearend with Strange S/S axles. Top is chopped 7/8",doors have had the vent windows removed, windshield wipers have been submerged below the rear surface of the hood, tappered rocker panels, altered wheel wells, the front were moved slightly forward and the rears have been enlarged and mini-tubbed.Three inches were trimmed from the front fenders, which in turn, helped lower the overall bodyline 7-1/2" at the headlight bezel. And 3" at the taillight bezels are gone, for a sleeker wedged appeal. Total ground clearance is 4-1/2". 2-1/2" Cowl induction hood that tilts forward.www.vennom.com

PM if you have any other questions or email me at [email protected]
I spoke with Rich at Promax and he said at this moment he is only going to do turn-key rides, due to a Goverment contract that he has to fulfill for the US Border Patrol and that will take 18-24months to complete. So it will not be easy to land one of these bodys, and i believe there are roughly 20-25 made at this point. Thanks Dave

Good luck with the sell  ......Are you still going to columbus??

promax/vennom#16 03-27-2006 04:10 PM

Thanks

Sorry,at this point i'm not looking for any trades.Yes these cars are really cool looking. Again, looking at the car you really don't notice all the modifications until you see it sitting next to an original, thats when they really stand out.I would like to see someone snag it from this site and list it under projects so we could follow the build as I was going to.If someone really went after it the car could be completed fairly quick, the seams sand down very easy and the body is really flat for a glass car. This car could easily completed by the middle of summer, or even SEMA!!!
I am going to try to make it to Columbus providing work keeps me in the region.

I agree, someone will have a killer ride when the car is completed, there is only a handful out there, that makes it more unique.

That is a badass car for sure. I'd love to see that car in my garage. Does anybody need a kidney for $35K??
