69 Camaro destroyed
All the blood sweat and tears built into this 69 destroyed in a couple minutes. It hurt to watch this video.

When seconds count they're only minutes away. :(

That car is done. Look how the quarter and the trunk sagged and warped from the heat down the right side. Probably 1000 degrees in there. What a shame. Pull the cowl tag and slap it on a Dynacorn!

We get some of the dirtiest looks you can imagine (from people on the phone) because we inconvience people with all of our loud noise and rushing around. I promise you, we ain't going for doughnuts. Jeff- |
Nothing would have prevented this outcome except a master cut of switch. It caught fire while they were driving down the road. Clearly, from a major short, likely a battery cable. This is exactly why I installed one on my car shortly before I sold it.

I just had a fire in August and was lucky. Here's a friend's car that wasn't so lucky a couple years ago: https://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphot...88445602_n.jpg Before: https://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphot...50653755_n.jpg Cause - Negligent packing and protection measures. Metal support rod was not secured or came lose and fell on a battery (not adequately protected) shorted and cause the fire while traveling down the interstate returning from a Canadian race. We are responsible for protecting our person and property not someone else. If you under-insure and are dependent on others you better be lucky. |

His point wasn't to kick firefighters in the balls. It's taking 100% ownership for your own life and possessions.
