I want to see that going full boar in a flat area. With a radar gun. While eating cookies and cream ice cream. And.. :willy:

Yeah BABY!

That's absolutely outrageous! Last season at the dragstrip I watched a sled pull an 8.80 1/4 mile, bummed that I didn't catch it on vid (battery was done).

Needless to say, I WANT ONE !!! :D

One thing that comes to mind though: the light that burns brightly never burns long. I have to believe that at these power levels, that this is one machine that easily redefines high maintenance. Go lean for even a nano second and "assume the position" ($$$)

WAY COOL!

Paul, the motor in the RX-1 is basically the R1 motor. A 1000cc 4 stroke. There are several companies developing turbo kits for them, and I've been reading that guys are pushing 30psi of boost! With one of the kits, the turbo goes in the rear, behind the seat where the muffler is, a lot like an STS kit for a sled.

You're right about the maintenance, those things must eat belts and clutches like candy.

Damn! Stopping as quickly is going to be an issue.

That is one wicked sled, Scott!

True... My "old beater" is right around the 200 HP mark naturally aspirated and loves to eat both. I couldn't imagine almost twice the horsepower.
