New Guy's 72 Cutlass
I finally broke down and registered here after lurking for some time. Really enjoy the site and the builds that I've read about and seen here. It's been a great source of inspiration for my own project. I've got a 1972 Cutlass S with a 455 that I am in the process of turning into something along the lines of a G-machine.

Hopefully by the summer time I will have a running LS motor in there and some big brakes. I was inspired by Project Sabre on this site and from there got to know Jason Rushforth, which has been fun but terrible for my bank account but otherwise fun. Looking forward to getting the rest of my "basics" done and one day completeing my goal of finishing off my car with some custom paint and nice body work. Also looking forward to my time here and the excellent ideas and help that comes with it.:thankyou: |
Great looking car.

Looks great! Welcome to the site

Welcome!:hello: :hello: I like the smoked wheels and black paint. The A-bodys are gaining some momentum around here lately.

OK so I'm in love with your car! I Have a 71 cutlass and the way you have your car done is almost exactly how I envisioned mine just with a dark satin candy red.

Thanks for all the compliments guys, they bring a smile to my face. Truth is the paint is pretty iffy. I waxed it and polished it enough that it's passable but up close she shows here age. I don't plan to leave it black forever either, in the end I am going to paint it green again. I'm going to be working with JayR on a paint scheme and start saving for the paint and bodywork(in a perfect world that will happen next year).
In the meantime I'm on the hunt for an LS/T56 combo at the moment:G-Dub: The other before summer must is brakes. I have a Baer T4 kit in mind, hell this thing may stop and handle yet! |
Welcome, kool car!
