G Body 18 inch wheels- looking for options!!

I want to run 18x8, 18x9.5 wheels on my 1986 Elcamino!

Don't want to go custom, to much Money, or use wheel adapters

Pending LS2-6 Speed install

Thanks RW

Looking for the following style, going with the Road Race theme

Does 9.5 fit easy in the rear? They must be 5 spoke?

If you are on a Budget Stock BMW M Parallels are good looking in my opinion, they were 18-8 and 18-9 Stock on 7 series I think, they make replicas of them though. So there are many types out there.

But if they are OEM BMW they are very high quality. They maybe are not "beefy" looking enough?

I have 17 x 8 s all away around. You just have watch your offset and tire size to see if you can fit 18 x 9.5 sin back. Take it a good tire shop and see if they fit.Good luck to you.

By the way, I had 18*8.5 on all four on my 87`442, I dont think 9.5 would fit very easy in the rear without a frame modification. Atlast very Close. Is El Camino different?

I can try to find the spec and a Picture if you want, but it is "euro" spec with offset instead of backspace. I know it was ET15 rims (+15mm offset) And I did use very thin spacers.

I did put the specs out on G-body forum I believe.

Found the specs: It`s 18" x 8.5 front and back +20mm offset front and +25mm offset in the rear I needed the 10mm spacer in the rear or else it would hit the frame, in the front I did not really need the 5mm i put there.
(3.46 backspace front, 3.26 backspace rear whitout tires) This backspace I believe is probably just calculated from the rim size maybe, do not know. Maybe I measured from hub to lip of rim. anyway, as you can see I could not have much backspace in the rear without hitting frame. It was Stock 8.5" rear

The tires are 245/40 front and 245/45 rear

Here are 2 pics, this is how it looked on the car, but it is not the style you want? I was going to Paint them flat black and "unpolish" the lip.

I'm going to use 18x9.5, 285/35/18 in the rear 6 BS with a 60 inch rear
The front will be 18x8, 245/40/18 in the front 5.25 BS with spacer, and ATX spindles

I will trim the outside lip on the rear
