Fikse dealers/service

Im in the market for some new rims and interested in a set of Fikse..I tried to get a set 2 years ago and got stuffed around big time by bad service and ended up with another set/brand after waiting way too long for my order and people passing the buck ,, anyways all that is behind us now and was wondering have Fikse got there act together ? who is a reliable vendor to purchase thru or is it recommended to go direct ? has anyone dealt with them recently as im wondering what there turnaround times are like..

thanx, Gav

I got a set a few months ago. through http://www.xplosiveperformance.com/
perfect transaction, great support form both Fiske and XP... i recommend both.

Turn around... estimate... 6 weeks, delivery... 6 weeks, custom made. delivered exactly as ordered.... I am not one to hype products/Companies but this one worked out perfectly and their was lots of bad press out there about Fiske... I am happy that I chose them and ignored the online feedback.

Gav, I know I pop up in your threads all the time. But Fikse is actually local to me so I can always call them direct or have someone go by thier shop to see what's going on.

What was the original timeline... 3 months is pretty standard.. in fact its pretty quick... in my opinion.

All respect XLT, but not much above I agree with. Might be fast for Fikse, but way high for the industry. On the other end, Forgeline is turning wheels out in 2-3 weeks these days. Ask Jason Rushforth, Jay Swain or Zach @ Boze what their turn around time is. Might not be 3 weeks, but definately not 3 months.

Shipping to Gav is a whole 'nother story.

Standard for someone running a ponzi deal maybe.

I've purchased 3 sets of wheels from Formuls 43 in the last year and all 3 took 3 weeks to build. I don't think 3 month's is the industry standard.
