Fabricator Parts and Pieces

I have seen a lot of "home" fabrication of various little brackets and sway bar mounts etc... and I always ask myself why?? Perhaps it's because people don't know you can buy this stuff ready made -- it's cheap and made well - and.. well.... you get the point.

Paul Horton's Welders Series has frame curves to motor mounts to sway bar brackets....

I've heard of them Greg. My builder and I have discussed using some of their products if I let him build my C10 frame.

I'm pretty sure I saw a lot of small fab tabs, brackets, etc... in the Chassisworks catalog as well. But you know how it goes... when you are in the heat of building something with an idea in your head if you don't have a widget on hand it's easier to just build one and keep going rather than stop and order something from a catalog...

Not that I've ever done that... :guns:

I'd like to be able to buy 10 of each item they have and have it at the shop! It is nice to have that resource when planning some chassis work. It's also nice to just fab your own with some style to it.

Chassis shop has some cool fab items too! http://secure.chassisshop.com/

It's easier for me to just run over to Art Morrisons.... and I agree with you that if you want something "trick" -- then you have to build it. But a lot of guys on here are home built and don't have all the nice tools etc so thought this was a "missed" source. Thanks for adding the Chassis Shop!

I like that site but if im not making them im buying from Ballistic fab. Some brackets are under a dollar each if listed in the clearance section.
