I'm new to this site. I really enjoy it. I like to show off my project that I built. 1987 Olds Cutlass with a 99 LS1 swap. I did the swap back in 2003 and every year I do more to the car. The car is almost finished accept for the baer brakes for the front. Here a list of what I have done:
99 LS1, 99 4L60E, Hotchkis Total Vehicle System, Moser 12 bolt, Eaton Posi, 3.73 gears, Torq II 17x7 front 17x8 rear, Goodyear Eagle F1 235 45 front 255 45 rear. My current project is 1966 Impala SS with 540 cu in BBC. and my daily driver is 1996 DCM Impala SS |
Scott, what a nice swap. That LS1 looks factory in there.
Welcome aboard. |
Nice Cutlass. LS1 looks like a factory install.

Nice Cutty! :hail: I live in Saginaw, where's Stevensville at?

I wish I never sold mine...those are great cars. Definitely a future collectable.

Yes! Another Oldsmobile with a Chevy engine! :D My '72 has a big block Chevy in it, makes the purist cringe!
Nice lookin' ride too! I had an '86 442 as a driver for a while. Loved that car! Right up until the lady ran the light and totaled it anyway! What are you rinning for a tranny? Also, what sort of fuel milage do you get in it with the LS swap? Shiny Side Up! Bill '72 442 "Inamorata" |

Stevensville is located in the southwest lower corner of the state. It 23 miles north of the state on the shoreline. ProTouring442 The tranny is a 4L60E trans out of a 99 WS6 firebird. I even left the car with a column shift. That took custom linkage and modify the stock crossmember. |

I think it's in the twenty but, I can't keep my foot out of it. I really never check the mileage. I built the car to have fun and go fast. I thought about taking the corvette covers and painting them body color and air brush olds logo on them.

I think he meant odometer mileage, not fuel mileage. :D
