Joe-Touring 2.0 .... 1954 Olds 88 Holiday
Some of you may remember my 66 Olds Cutlass that my friend Scott coined the term Joe-Touring back in 2006. It was a nice car built on a working mans budget in a home garage. I didn't have the most expensive latest and greatest but there was money spent in the right places and it turned out to be a really cool car.
My new car will be that car on steroids. I plan on doing 90%+ of all work done to the car and end up with a car most will think was built by a pro. I have hired Ben Hermance to do the renderings and it has been a tremendous help to get get ideas that have been floating in my head in front of me. I highly recommend his work. I have now narrowed about 20 different concepts down to my last three. Now is where it gets tough. The last three look so damn good I just don't know the direction I will go. I expect this to be a 3+ year project to be able to fund it and find the time to build it having a young family and working all the time.
