Special Request For Roadster Shop and Ironworks!!
Both of you guys do some awesome, killer work. I don't think there is a single soul on this site or the pro-touring, muscle car world period that doesn't respect, admire and appreciate your work. Your builds are very creative and top notch. You guys have several threads on here being built that many of us follow. With that being said, you know how some companies have a "meet the team" type of option on their website? With the top notch builds going on at the shop, I would love to see the team and the guys that are responsible for making The Roadster Shop and Ironworks Spees and Kustoms two of the best shops around. I'm pretty sure that this request could be abliged if I came into either of the shops. But, for myself and guys alike that would be interested in just seeing the crews online. Maybe Rodger or Jeremy can snap a couple of pics of the guys and introduce them with their names and specialies, such as "fabricator" or "painter", etc. I know the guys working are very busy and you cannot get them to take time away to do a personal pose, etc, but if you all could do something like capture a shot of them in action even or just get them to look away from work for a split second and into the camera if they are working. Thanks!!

Cool idea Marcus!
We all have a need to feel appreciated and have a sense of importance. Straight from the book "How To Make Friends and Influence People" This would be a great way for the top shops to for fill that basic need and increase the team spirit and moral. Win, Win! |
We have a picture on our website that was taken in early 2012. The difficulty in doing this is most of my guys work pretty hard and can get dirty at work and really don't have an interest in having a picture of them posted on the internet. This group pic was hard enough.
I will see what I can do about something, but just like me, most of my guys are not excited about taking any kind of pictures. And actually most of my guys don't even get on lat-g. Once you do this every day for a living it's no longer a hobby. After work you want to go ride your dirt bike, pedal you mountain bike, target shoot, waterski, snowboard, or anything that has nothing to do with cars and fabrication. Thanks for the Compliment. The real guys that deserve just a much credit are the customers that are will and able to commission this work to be done. It take the understanding and respect of the trade to be willing to pay the bill let alone have the money to be able to financially pay the bill. Like I always say we are only as good as the customer will let us be. |
