Reverse Lockout

Just wondering how you guys have your reverse lockout wired in? I have been told to wire it to my brake lights or a toggle switch.

Thanks in advance!

Wired mine into the brake light switch, until I can find a better lead. If I am going fast in 6th gear and hit the brakes and down shift I could accidentally throw it into reverse...

I was thinking the same thing -- just looking for other options, I don't know how/if I can wire it into the ECM.

It can be used with the ECM and programmed accordingly.

Thanks Carl -- would you happen to know what the pin out is from the ECM?

Here is a stand alone module I'm going to try: http://www.accutach.com/Pages/OSSVSS...ckoutUnit.aspx

Thanks David -- I think that is what I will go with, I saw something similar to that awhile ago and it was quite a bit more money than the Accutach unit.
