Just as a word of caution, you may want to check on shipping. Most private individuals and even most businesses can not legally ship paint. If you try to do it via fed ex or UPS on the sly and the can happens to leak or open, you are liable. Just a friendly caution. GLWS

Actually that's not completely true, yes if you try to just put it in a box and ship it that is illegal. But as long as you have the proper labeling on the box it can be shipped FedEx or UPS. Usually no more then a gallon per container. You will also need a lid ring on top of the can and then it needs to be placed in a plastic bag closed up with a zip tie.

If you get someone who wants to buy it go back to the paint store and see if they can help you with shipping it out, or atleast they should have the retainer ring that goes on top of the can.

We have accounts with both Fed Ex and UPS and have been told regardless of meeting the packaging standards and ORM-D standards, you still liable as the shipper for any damages, clean-up, fines when shipping this type of material. Our paint suppliers won't even ship it for us unless it is in there own vehicles. It really is a pain! Lol

Chad, it's only a pain if you do not know how to do it  yes you as the shipper are responsible for anything that happens during shipping if the container opens to know fault of their doing (FedEx - UPS) but if they damage it its on them.

We ship paint all over country all the time overnight, from our lab to our training centers and from the field to our lab. Maybe you need a new paint supplier?? :hello:
