Stance?
I took these pictures in the local grocery store parking lot Sunday night while on a "popscicle run" with my 4 year old… in some angles the stance looks just right… in others the front tires just look too big.
The fronts are 255/45/18s and the rears are 295/40/18s… I intentionally wanted some sidewall on the tires but am wondering if I should go to a 255/40/18 or a 245/40/18 up front? http://i691.photobucket.com/albums/v...psc4da1c44.jpg http://i691.photobucket.com/albums/v...psa6ead472.jpg http://i691.photobucket.com/albums/v...psc0958e7b.jpg Fronts measure 27.0" and the rears 27.3" Thoughts? Regards, Ty p.s. No GW it's not a 4x4! |

My first impression is the front is a little high and the tire appears larger than the rear. I'd lean toward the 40's in the front. If they're a 1/2 smaller diameter than the 45's the stance may be enhanced...........IMO. Hard to know "for sure" unless they're mounted on the car. |
Yea that looks like a lot of tire in the front. 40s should make a nice change.

Definitely go with the 40 series in front! :G-Dub:

Yeah I agree with the others.

Ty,
Always talk to us before making a major purchase for your vehicles. Most of us have bought something for a hotrod that worked out good at least once. |
I agree with all list above. 40 series
