overspray

guys I got some overspray on some of my suspension and on my rad support. Any ideas on how I can get it off? The rad support is painted in satin hot rod black and the suspension is powder coated.

oven cleaner?

aany001 05-22-2013 09:11 PM

I tried the clay bar and it helped but didnt take some areas off. My main concern is my rad support cause its satin black. How the hell do the pros build cars with no overspray?????

Has anyone ever tried over cleaner before?

I don't think oven cleaner would be good, The Pros, paint all the items in pieces then assemble. Possibly try some rubbing compound it's going to want to make the paint shine Try it and see. Maybe some 000 steel wool real easy. Maybe a rag just damp with paint thinner. Just some ideas

A more aggressive clay bar?

Seriously, If its a mothers or meg's clay bar its usually a very fine clay. Cly magic "red" is aggressive.
