I hate LateralG

This site has completely destroyed me, I've gone backwards on my project more than I've gone forward. I'm now trying to figure out how to separate the frame from the body so I can make things right.

I found this site when I was searching rear suspension set ups. I started with a truck arm style, that wasn't going to work. Than I bought a parallel 4 bar set up...just last night I'm reading about torque arm and simple leaf set ups! :bang:

I'll get it, and thanks to this site it will be better in the long run. Thanks to everyone that posts the builds and modifications of their cars. Someone once said (GW I think) this place is like a bunch of dudes hangin out in a garage shootin the ****. This is the best garage I've ever been in.

Thanks Jody for the cool hang out!

Torque arm and a watts link. Done deal.

I found it's easier to give the wife complete control of the checking account. Any money I make on side jobs doing fab work or general car repair goes into the 'man toy' fund. If I have none of that left, I let her know weeks in advance of what I need to get. She will budget accordingly. I've mentally added up what $$ is in my car and still have a hard time understanding how there can be more that $25-$30 grand in a 1991 Mustang.

It's a disease and there is NO cure for it

SO :snapout:

Your title had me scared at first. :confused18: This site has great members, which is what makes it work. It is like a bunch of car guys bs-ing in the shop, I like that analogy.

Best site.....hands down!!!!:beavis: :beavis: :beavis: :beavis:

So the title might have been a bit dramatic:fire:

I had spent a couple nights searching the threads and builds from waaay back and just can't get enough. This site has top builders from high end shops to backyard hobbyists, insanely rich people to guys scraping up to buy the next part, all this with very little drama:peepwall: Love it!

I'll get the ol Ford rolling down the road sooner or later. Just need to stay focused on K.I.S.S.

Not sure I'll be listening to any Rihanna :beathorse ....maybe a lil

It was more the do whatever and shut up and drive theme, course the legs and their attachment ain't terrible.

That said it's hard to argue a torque arm and watts link........IMHO.

I've looked at quite a few torque arm designs, a lot of different styles out there. Panhard bar, watts link, shackle mount on the front vs. jonny joint vs. what looks like a small slip yoke.....

I'm trying to keep the Ford fairly simple and a driver. The Barracuda on the other hand, that's another story. I plan on getting in way over my head on that!
