Convertible top fixation

Guy's hard time to find the proper terms so please be patient. I'm restoring a 69 convertible camaro and in the top frame there is 2 strips of wood where the top gets stapled on. They are totally rotten and need to be replaced. Any suggestion on what to use?
Thx for you help, greatly appreciated .
:thankyou:

Any camaro restoration parts company should have it. It's called a tack strip for conv. Top. Greg

Stop by your local interior shop and pick up some hard rubber tack strip, thats what we use at my shop. Works great, we replace them on every top we do
