T56 Mag Master Cyl - HELP!

I bought the car with the T56 Mag installed along with a McLeod Clutch and hyd clutch setup. I see everyone installing the plate for LS conversions but mine has no such plate. The car is undergoing a smooth firewall project so I have the chance to make it right if it is indeed NOT. Need some guidance. Do I have the wrong setup? The pedal force was quite high but I accepted as normal but maybe was not.

To get good feedback the pro's here will probably want to know specifically what clutch, throwout, pedal, and linkage ratio you have also.

McLeod RXT twin disc clutch, not sure what throwout it has, Clayton Machine Works pedals. The pedals are new to the equation so will be making that adjustment on reassembly. The Wilwood compact mstr cyl is a 3/4" bore...specs state 1.4" pedal ratio.

First off, that plate is for a 4th gen mc which I don't believe you have.

Need to know Bellhousing and throwout bearing to match MC bore size and set up.

Ok but is there a better Mstr cyl to use than what I have in the case of the current setup or a possible future LS setup? With the current pedal force being fairly high I suspect the current setup is not correct.

I believe the 1.4 is the stroke.

What is your pedal ratio? The rod in the wrong place can give you a hard pedal.

If I remember correctly the rod should be 2 3/4" below the pivot pin. The master you have is a .750. I have run .875 or 7/8" on most of our builds.

If you are in the metal stage you can make your own plate to correct the angle and ratio.

This is a 2nd gen camaro but the same concept.
