American Horsepower meets Aussie steel. I've got my hands on the current Holden Monaro CV8Z (Aussie version of the Pontiac GTO) right now. Still only LS1 powered, but iit's such a joy to drive. We're doing some magazine stories on it, but more importantly we've been filming it for an upcoming DVD.

We also shot it today with an original model 1968 Holden GTS Monaro. Very cool to see the current model still carries the same Monaro badge as the '68.

Yeah, but I guess you have to be talented like me to be able to win motorsport events in both LHD and RHD cars :)

I'd have a hell of a time trying to shift with my left arm.

I like it. But then again I own the US version.

Those are some funky looking catalytic converters you have there, Jody. :D

I wish they'd bring the whole Holden lineup to the U.S. :hail: I'd have a tough time choosing which one I'd buy, probably go with the ute (LS1/6-speed of course :unibrow: )

Looks good camcojb!

Looking forward to when I get back to the US. We're gonna be fitting the T51R version of this kit to a GTO. I've also lined up some awesome LS1/2 clutch and flywheel packages if you're interested.

It's weird, I had a few people say they didn't like the ute when I was in the US. It's actually a pretty good thing. Drives and handles like a sedan or coupe, but still is big enough in the tray to carry 2 road bikes. There's also the dual cab CREWMAN now

Oh... but you can also get the HSV Maloo ute Derek :) That's LS2 and comes with lots more goodies... Much like the HSV GTO Coupe

The Ford ute's are pretty good too. V8, inline 6 or inline 6 turbo
