New Aussie Boy
G'day All,
My name is Ray , I'm from Melbourne Australia and new to this site. There's some tuff looking muscle cars on here and hoping to get some info to improve mine. Here are a few photos of my 68' Camaro http://i.imgur.com/0XfCjCv.jpg http://i.imgur.com/BtYQqvW.jpg http://i.imgur.com/LTOpLcQ.jpg http://i.imgur.com/LQAECSt.jpg |
Killer car.... and welcome! :bigun2:

Nice ride Mate......is she a correct numbers car or just a very good OEM restoration?
 Watch out for Flash68, his car is the dogs balls around here.......if it ever gets finished. :unibrow: |
Welcome and very nice, period correct looking car. :ohsnap:
|
Thanks Guys
Unfortunately it is'nt number matching but it is period correct, the guy who I bought it off did a Gr8 job on the resto , the Goodyear Polyglas wheels may look good but dont handle too good. If there is one thing I would like too change is the wheels, so thats my next project |
The car looks spectacular!
Regretfully in stock form they are not very pleasant drivers compared to a hot-rodded Holden. Sliding out of the seat in left hand corners isn't any fun -check TMI's stock appearing options. Stock disc brakes don't feel too bad until you really need them! Not having an over-driven transmission is no fun if you want to drive outside of town. Those items were the primary issues I had with my basically stock SS when I first bought it. Enjoy the journey. |
