New guy with a 69 Camaro
Hey guys I have posted a few times here and now I guess I should introduce myself. I picked up a basket case 69 a few years ago that I have been building. It is not quite on the road yet but hoping that it will within the next few weeks! here are some basic specs:
1969 Camaro 408 sbc AFR 195's 9.7 to 1 forged 1.52 comp rollers Comp xs 274s soild cam 236/242 510/522 RPM air gap 750 Holley DP 1 3/4" Long tubes 3" x pipe 40 series super 40's TH400/3500 stall/GV overdrive Currie 9" 3.55 posi Hotchis 2" front springs DSE 3" rears Iroc steering box It has drag wheels on it right now but am planning on some Budnick 18's all the way around as well as a brake upgrade. As far as the tranny goes I cant decide on keeping the 400/GV or going to a TKO 600. Anyway I love the site and hope to learn alot from some of you guys! |

Thanks guys for the greetings! This weekend I hope to have the car fully back together and I will post picks for sure then. As far as the 1/4 mile goes it has yet to go any farther than around my block. But the sucker feels like a rocket!
Rob...you want me to post some pics of the Caddy Commando... :D |
