Forgeline's New One Piece Forged Monoblock SE1 Wheel

Forgeline Motorsports is proud to introduce our latest one piece forged monoblock high-performance wheel, the SE1. Shown here in our Transparent Smoke finish, the SE1 is machined from a single 6061-T6 aluminum forging with “I-beamed” spoke technology to be lightweight, extremely stiff, and have excellent fatigue strength.

Being a one piece wheel, offsets and backspacing are not quite as flexible as they are with a 3 piece wheel (since we can't just mix and match rim shells). But we have a pretty large offset range available, so with the right axle configuration, we should be able to accommodate most potential pro-touring fitments. As of August 2013, all of the 19 and most of the 20 inch diameters are ready to go. 18-inch diameters and additional 20-inch widths are currently in development (we are targeting mid September). These are great looking wheels.
Are you making these in a concave wheel?

OK there are 2 ways to interpret this question. I'm not sure which you mean, so I'll give you both answers.

1. Yes in any width larger than 9 inches, the SE1 is by definition the deep concave profile. (All 9 inch widths are built on the shallow concave profile. All others are on the deep concave profile.) My photos above might not do a good job of showing the concave angle. Try this:

2. If you mean, do we make a similar spoke pattern in a 3 piece Concave Series wheel, then yes...sort of. The DE3C Concave is a very similar 8 spoke version in a 3 piece concave. See: http://www.forgeline.com/products/co...c-concave.html

And for fitments that don't require much outer, then you could also do the stepped lip version, the DE3C-SL. See: http://www.forgeline.com/products/co...epped-lip.html

Here are a few shots of the one piece forged monoblock SE1 in the Brushed and Cleared finish. Look closely, and you can see the I-beams cut into the spokes and into the spans between the spokes at the outside of the wheel.

At this moment, we can do 18x13, 19x12, and 20x12. But we've got some new 20 inch forgings on order. So we plan to add 20x13 relatively soon too. Tentatively planning for March.
