Aeroquip fittings

I've been using these in my build...but man they're expensive. I'm doing the fuel, heater hose, and A/C line in braided Aeroqup hose and fitings. Some of the fittings are like $30 each!! Am I wasting my hard earned cash or does anyone swear by them?

Thanks!

I don't swear by em but I do swear at em when I have to buy 20 fittings.

Have you guys tried Goodridge fittings? I've been using them in my 63 Turbo Mini Cooper build and they seem to be just as good quality! and certainly cheaper. I've been buying them localy form www.force-efi.com but you can easily open an account with goodridge directly.

I struggled with this choice on my most recent build. .

I have heard nothing bad about AE lines except the price.

I feel like the engine systems should be consistant no matter what choice you make (braided or not). If you start with the AE lines, I think all lines should match.

If it makes you feel any better, both Airbus and Boeing seem to think very highly of Aeroquip-standard on both 737's and A320's.
