New shoes, new stance, new problems
3 Attachment(s)
I just finished up my 70 ElCamino with new rims and tires and supension upgrades. It has Sc&c stage 2 plus front suspension, with matching springs(2 inch drop). My new problem is the emergency brake hits the frame. The rear is a Dana S60 with older Baer set up. Any ideas????Attachment 41958

No familiar with those brakes but could you swap sides do the e-brake cables are at the bottom of the setup instead of the top?

get us some more pic please. DIfferent angles if possible

I will get more pic's on Monday.
thanks Pete |
I have a similar Baer set-up currently, and my caliper points to the rear of the car (not up). The brake cable comes out of the bottom of the caliper. Where is the bleeder for the caliper located ? Looks like it would be pointed toward the front of the car (again, not up). Any trouble bleeding them?

It's a bad angle, it's on top. Thanks for the pic.

Looks like you'll need a new bracket to position the caliper down away from the frame. I'd ask baer what else they have, or ask KORE3.
If the calipers can be swapped to the other side, and if that positions the cable bracket down, you may be able to bleed the caliper off the bracket, with the bleeder up, and then mount the caliper. |

Do you have any pic's.
Thanks pete |
Can you simply clock the caliper bracket 90* on the axle?
