I should be clear: I don’t actually have a mistress. At least not a traditional mistress, that is.
While my car’s name might be Plain Jane, my girlfriend has always referred to her as ‘The Mistress’. I think the fact that I stash funds to buy shiny gifts for Jane, then spend hours caressing her around cones and gave her her own room, must have something to do with the scandalous nickname.

Fun story Rodney, I too have let my wife race my car. She enjoys doing it once in a while.

Great story and good read. My wife really likes the car, understands the racing and enjoys riding in it. She's been wanting me to put a roll bar in since I've known her. She says that makes it a real race car.

I see lots of pretty cars with roll bars at events and they NEVER get drive around a track
