Brake Line Help

Does anyone have any recommendations on what brake line to use (stainless, steel, or copper/nickel) and why. Also a good supplier that makes everything in the same material. I am finding at Summit and Jegs its hard to get all the fittings in the same brand/material/look to do an entire system. I'm trying to get a pile of things together at the same time and searching through brake fittings is making me crazy. :hairpullout:

if you plan on doing a few I recommend this.

S.U.R.& R.Auto Parts BR-EZ316 E-Z

Easy to use, looks nice and won't give you the pain of stainless.
you can buy at NAPA or Amazon.com

I'll second Cu/Ni over steel or stainless, unless you're looking for pre-fabricated hard lines as I don't know of anyone offering Cu/Ni yet (RSD, Inline Tube, Classic Tube, etc). We stock 25 ft rolls of the stuff and all of the steel tube nuts you may need, so while I'm sure the kit above is probably a good deal, it appears to include a bunch of tube nuts and fittings that you'll never need or use.

Cu/Ni tubing has all of the benefits of stainless with virtually none of the issues associated with cold working and the sometimes sketchy sealing at fittings.

Exactly what Vince and Tobin said. I used it on my wife's 69 Camaro project and will not use anything else going forward.
