My 69 Camaro Build
My car is finally starting to see some progress so I guess its time to start a build thread.
I bought this car earlier in the year (2013) with small intentions just to update the steering, suspension, brakes, and a few other things and just enjoy it. I should have known better cause I am not capable of ever doing that weather its with a daily driver or a project. Here is the car as it looked when I got it http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y13...ps76a139a3.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y13...ps7be5ccb8.jpg |
Once I started to tear it apart and order parts it spiraled out of control. I pulled the whole car apart down to a shell. Removed the interior, front clip and sheet metal, engine/tranny/rearend, all wiring and lights removed etc etc.
With the help of some good people, Darren@ridetech, Jeremy at Miranda Built, the folks at Wilwood, COR Wheels, and Michelin Tires, I ended up with a healthy parts list to get me thru the next few months. I ended up with the following. Ride Tech Stage 2 Suspension Package with Muscle Bar and Tru-Turn Steering Wilwood 14" 6 Piston Fronts and 14" 4 Piston Rears all with upgraded Nickel Calipers COR Cypher 3 Piece Wheels 20x12 in the rear and 19x9 in the Front Michelin Pilot Spots 325/25/20 Rear and 265/30/19 Front DSE Mini Tubs QuickPerformance 9" Narrowed with Billet ends, new center section etc http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y13...ps2deab412.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y13...psfd40b4d2.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y13...ps1a3758dc.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y13...psae7ebc85.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y13...ps9d89ffea.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y13...ps464ae04a.jpg |
