Charley is 100% correct when he says NOT to buy one of these ill handling cars… The average guy can not drive and work that hard to get around a corner. Watching this guys hands and how busy they are - just WOW! That's a lot of work.

Coolest looking car ever in the Universe --- but the looks are offset by it being the worst handling car ever… LOL

Last time we were at Thunderhill -- there were two of them in the Green group -- both were off track in the same session! They're just big spinners.

Greg,

Is that due to the short wheel-base, or some other issue? Do you feel the same about the reproduction models as the original?

I've always loved these little cars and would like to build/own one someday!

I agree with what you and Charlie are saying Greg.

When I watched this vid I thought, 'This guy is taking his life in his own hands.'... way more than when tracking some other type of car.

cobra

I had one of these... ive had a Viper GTS, a Roush 427R, my current BBC camaro, driven a GT3 RS , Ferrari etc... there are very few cars on the planet that come close to the craziness of a 2200 lb car with 425 rwhp, a short wheelbase and the thunderous noise

most fun ive ever had ...

This is the chassis for the 289 Cobra. Transverse leaf springs front and rear.

The cars are really nose heavy along with the short wheelbase. The repros do nothing to correct this problem.

Then you might like this one SW...the driver was gravely ill at the time per one of the comments.
