Flush windows alternative

I would like to put the front and rear glass flush to the body of my 69 Nova.

Can I just raise the window 1/4 inch with some rubber blocks and use a special molding to fill the gap between the body and the glass?

I was at SEMA and I think I saw some of these solutions.

Can anyone give me some advice?
Pictures?

Get I touch with you local glass company, they should know what seals would work best. I picked up a 1 1/4" lip seal that hides the gap but it's tought to get the corners right.
Instead of rubber blocks you can have your glass installer use eurethan to build it to the right level.

i'm working on it for my 70 nova . had one body guy start it but failed the problem with the nova is the rear lower mounting it has to come up 3/8 of a inch . along with the whole window surround in and up 3/8 or so . also the front window needs the front cowl extended . not to mention you have to black out 1 inch of the glass otherwise you see the sealers lookin all goopy

Novas are tough to do cause they have a funky back metal shape. On the front I would just drop the glass down and add metal to the top. It would be about 3/4".

On the glass you can carefully mask off the glass and paint it black.

Lets see some pictures of what have now.

if your not paying for at least 40 per glass your gonna get what you pay for. Its a ton of work to do.
