1969 C10 Battery location

:confused18: Just bought my 15 year old son a 1969 C10 original Arizona truck, bought new and owned by the same family. Would like to move the battery from under the hood to a different location,,,,,any good idea's???

Lot of options. You could mount it in the bed. Most people will mount on the passenger side to help offset driver weight. Also on Chevy's, the starter is on that side. Cleaner routing of the cable. I have seen others mount then in a drop down box attached to the frame. I will see if I can find examples.

I think battery under the truck bed would be best, could be a little tough to get to at times.....The body and bed are of the chassis and ready for paint. Now's the time, I'm on it!
Thanks guys!
