Anyone know what is going on with these guys? I gave them a $1000 deposit a month ago for a transmission kit due to ship early March. The $4000 balance was supposed to be charged two weeks before shipment. Today I got an email that they will be charging the balance tomorrow to guarantee a production slot with their supplier. My first reaction is they are having cash flow problems and I just read on the Corvette forum they are telling some folks they are having financial problems. The sales guy is referring folks to Shafi's email. Needless to say I am thinking about doing a chargeback to get my deposit back. Any similar experiences here on this forum?

4L60E kit for a Mopar 440. A bit of an oddball kit to find. Might have to figure out how to do it myself but this may exceed my limited expertise...

Run away fast.

I was going to say the same thing, but I am new here, and did not know how that would be received.

A friend of mine ordered a specially geared T-56 from Keisler in March '13. This would be the fourth trans that he had purchased direct from them, with never any problems in the past. A truck finally showed up in August and his wife accepted delivery. When he got home he cut the bands on the skid and opened the box. No Trans!!! Now Keisler hired the shipping company and charged my friends credit card, but are not stepping up and taking any responsibility. Special K has his money and is not doing anything. Every time he contacts Keisler my friend gets some line of bs that they are waiting for a case, they dont have the gears, it's going to ship next week, Special K is unavailable, ect..... He's out almost 4K and has nothing!
In my opinion i would not buy anything from Keisler, EVER!!!

Give Mark Bowler(Bowler Performance) a call Awesome people and wont steal your money.

Get your deposit back as fast as you can and buy anything OTHER than from them. This has been nothing but trouble for a couple years now. A house of cards just waiting for the final breath of wind.

We are family here...brothers. No need to worry about that. Especially, if it can help one of us. Nonetheless, if someone asks on a forum, they have to be willing to accept all answers.

Get your money back as soon as possible and walk away. Keisler's troubles are never-ending. I dealt with them once for something simple and it was a hassle. Never again.
