Track day crashes at Nürburgring
 

Thanks for posting. Got a laugh out of some of the spins.

I just don't understand the whole track day in the rain idea!!:badidea:

I don't understand what the Nurburgring is all about. Is it a normal track? Looks like they let anybody on it. Wet/dry, passengers, cars and bikes at the same time??

It's a motorsports complex --- people pay to drive on it. Go look it up on the internet.

It's a loop of public roads and you pay a toll fee to get in the loop. After you've entered the public road, it's all out racing from there on. I've been on it many times and every time it's just blows my mind how cool the track is. death toll still keeps going up every week.

Those that don't understand track days in wet, might have difficulties later in life. If you haven't noticed, much of the road course racing, Formula 1 for example, takes place in wet conditions. And how would one prepare for such conditions? Yup, driving in the wet! :knock: That's one of the things in life that you can't learn just by reading about it on the interenet. :waveflag:

Sorry about the ignorant question about track days in the wet..... I don't realize that those people were "professional" or F1 drivers in their personal cars......:sarcasm_smiley:

Now that's entertainment,it's amazing how fast these people over steer,even the little cars with no power get away from them so fast,hilarious :lol:

Huge HP is a disadvantage on alot of Road Courses. My 200 HP 1700 lb Race Car can run circles around HP cars on most Tracks. Weight Transfer with any amount of HP can cause problems for under Trained Drivers

That's still plenty powerful considering the weight! Must be a lot of fun. Any pics?
