rick's stainless fuel tank &phantom fuel system
Sorry about the confusion. the fuel tank is the one Detroit speed sells. The narrowed fuel tank. Its for a 1969 Camaro .made by rick's. for Detroit speed What I am trying to do is install the phantom 340 fuelpump system in the tank. But I don't know were the baffle are in the tank. I don't want to cut into the tank and hit the baffles. So I was trying to find out if anyone has install this system in this tank.I want to change from a carb system to the new holley terminator efi. That is why I want to install this fuel system thanks :headspin:

You don't have a Ricks tank. You have a DSE tank manufactured by Rock Valley.
If you look closely at the tank you will see ripples on the top and/or bottom of the tank where there are spot welds. Those are holding the the baffles in place. You could remove the sending unit and look in with a flash light to get a better idea. For the most part, centered side to side, towards the front would be a good location for that setup if that is what you want to run. |

Donny is there a better fuel system that you can recommend?

Without knowing you or the application I can not recommend the best setup for you.
I feel that Vaporworx is the best setup out there right now. |
Thanks Donny.
We do offer a kit to retrofit modern fuel modules. If the OE's could come up with a better, less expensive, more reliable method than a fuel module, they would have done it. http://vaporworx.com/retroworx_kit.htm Instructions: http://vaporworx.com/Vaporworx%20Fue...structions.pdf |
