mopar B body suspension
Is there anybody out there that can recommend a company for a 72 b body front and rear suspension system. I know who to go to for GM and Ford but not Mopar. I have been dealing with XV motorsports But I have not been able to contact them since they got the payment. The rest of the parts from all the other vendors are already here.I need to use a front suspension that uses the corvette spindle as the Baer brake package that I have is speced for them. I also have the gen 3 hemi & tr6060.This is for a 1972 roadrunner project that I need to get started on.Thanks,Bob

Last I heard, XV was shutting their doors. Might want to look into getting your money back. Sell the brakes, no one make a kit to use those spindles but them. Hotchkis makes the best kit as of now, and the Subframe connectors just got out of R&D.

Reilly Motorsports...RMS sells front and rear coilover kits for B body's. Here's a link to his site. Lots of good reviews.

QA1 tubular uppers and lowers as well as their new K member. Throw in some Hotchkis, Firm Feel and RideTech for springs, Tbars and shocks and you'll have an excellent streetcar that can take quite a bit of track abuse.
He drives this to work, takes his kids out for ice cream and runs it on tracks without a hassle. It's a bad ass street car with well thought out, factory style upgrades. I'm pretty sure it was the fastest B body in Pahrump....and I know he was the fastest (only) B body at Laguna. Dan |
Yes XV has closed their doors, You should give Peter Bergmen a call he was XV'S head mechanic. Pete has opened his own shop and is mopar genesis and the godfather of pro touring. Here is his web link http://bergmanautocraft.com/ and his phone number (631) 423-1517. Give him a call he will set you up with what you need.
